Since Kelsey’s tweet last week, she has gained more than 30,000 followers on Twitter, while Brock’s bagged around 7,000. Harmon is grilling again this weekend and inviting everyone to his home in Purcell, Oklahoma. “I came to Papaws house and am having a burger!!!!!!!”
“It was Pawpaw’s idea to have the cookout”, Harmon told Buzzfeed.
The tweet quickly went viral.
Here’s the original photo that Kelsey Harmon shared of Papaw that had the internet calling him the “Sad Grandpa”.
“I don’t think it was needed to be taken to that level”, Harmon said. The Harmon cookout will be held on Saturday March 26.
The post was retweeted 70,000 times within the first 24 hours.
In spite of the new instalment, there are still threats – and more positive messages – being sent, with Brock revealing hundreds of people are writing to him on Facebook.
She told the “Daily Mail,” many said her the post made them call their grandparents. But Papaw didn’t just want to invite his family – he extended the invitation to everyone.

“We’re a very family-oriented family”. We communicate all the time. Now papaw would definitely not like it if his grandkids were harmed, wouldn’t he?
