Grantham College students celebrating best ever results and 99% pass rate
Mr Reilly added: “Our BTEC Level 3 results were again outstanding, with 100 per cent of grades at distinction or above, 91 per cent of these being awarded distinction*, the highest possible grade, which is equivalent to an A* grade at A-Level for university entrance”.

Results came out today (Thursday) and showed that the school achieved a pass rate of 99% with 47% of passes at A*/A and B grade.
Hard work has paid off at Carrickfergus College as A-Level students picked up their results this morning.
Head teacher Andrew Fulbrook said: “I am delighted with our A-level results”.
“We have broken records as a quarter of all A-level grades achieved are A*-A grades, with over half of the grades being A*-B”. They have been very well supported by our dedicated staff and sixth form team.
“We also are very proud of four particular pupils who have successfully secured a place at Cambridge University”.
Also noteworthy were the interim AS grades for Year 12 of which 70 percent achieved grades C or above with another year to go before the big exams.
Nina’s A*s were in Psychology and Sociology, with an A in English Literature, while Shannan achieved A*s in Biology and Sociology and As in English Literature and General Studies.
Iestyn Halford obtained three A* in maths, further maths and physics.

Macaulay Ealham achieved A* in business studies, A grades in economics and maths.
