Senator John Mccain blasted Trump in a very personal statement and praised Captain Humayun Khan’s service. Neiberger-Miller said she emailed the Khans after the Democratic National Convention speech, telling them how fearless they were. When her husband asked if she wanted to speak at the convention, she said she could not. That proves the point: “He has not read the Constitution of this country”.
In a statement to ABC, Graham said, “There used to be some things that were sacred in American politics – that you don’t do – like criticizing the parents of a fallen soldier even if they criticize you”. He didn’t come close to saying that. And if you haven’t seen or read what he said, you won’t believe what he said. Because you’re a sane human being with feelings.

Ironically, Khan claimed in his speech that Trump was ignorant of the Constitution, yet the above is silly beyond words. “Walking onto the convention stage, with a huge picture of my son behind me, I could hardly control myself. If the last 10 outburst didn’t prove that to you, this one should”. And yes, that’s possible.
“Captain Khan was one such fearless example”.
Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said the Khans “have made the greatest possible sacrifice for our country; they deserve to be heard and respected”.
“I will always work to serve our nation’s service members and veterans, and honor those who gave their lives to defend our freedoms”, he said. He added that he had sacrificed a lot, by working hard and creating thousands of jobs. I’ve had tremendous success. “At least they are that much happy”.
One also might wonder how many Muslims are like Gamal Abdel-Hafiz – now a homeland-security advisor to Barack Obama – and if they can be a solution if they are.
But not a single Republican seeking to distance themselves from him revoked their support for the 2016 Republican nominee. McConnell and Speaker Ryan, and implores them that now is a time for conscience.
