The farewell reunion concerts will feature bassist and singer Phil Lesh, guitarist and singer Bob Weir and drummers Mickey Hart, who lives in Occidental, and Bill Kreutzman. The NBC affiliate in the Bay Area reported that fans could buy single day passes for as low as $27 on StubHub. These shows will be held ahead of the final shows taking place at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL. In absence of the late Jerry Garcia, the remaining members of the Dead will distribute a basic, four-CD set including either double discs of Blu-ray or DVD with audio and video extras.
Earlier this week, YouTube joined the list of outlets that will be broadcasting the Fare Thee Well shows, set to kick off this weekend in Santa Clara, CA.
