Rumours have been flowing in ever since Apple officially announced the launch of next iPhones – iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus – scheduled for September 7.

The invite comes with the tagline, “See you on the 7th” which confirms the date; however, there are no other words present.

According to invites sent to the press, the company will be holding its biggest event of the year early next month. Also, the report suggests that both the variant will be available in three storage options ranging from 32GB to 128GB, and to 256GB.

This is the day that we are expecting to see the iPhone 7, whatever that may look like. However a complete new design is not expected but the second generation watch will be featured with better waterproofing, a faster processor and will be equipped with built in Global Positioning System capabilities.

Other rumors indicate that some iPhone 7 models will be waterproof and dustproof, and, in a departure from the Apple-made processors of current iPhones, use either Intel or Qualcomm chips.

Apple appears to be moving fast with this iPhone; according to Forbes, the next iPhone will go on sale Stateside on 16th September. The box purportedly includes “iPhone 7 Plus, EarPods with Lightning Connector, Lightning to Headphone Jack Adapter, Lightning to USB Cable, and USB Power Cable” (emphasis ours).

Those analysing the invitation for hints about Apple’s plans seem to think it implies a dual camera for the new phone and better low-light photography.

Then there is the possibility of the Apple Watch, which is due for an upgrade. Leaked photos show an upgraded camera, a new lightning jack headphone port and a redesigned case.
