Green Bay Packers halt slide with win over Minnesota Vikings
It will be interesting if they decide to put the game on the right arm of Aaron Rodgers, as nearly everybody would expect or if they try to feed James Starks and Eddie Lacy to attack the Vikings where they are weakest. There were bags of orange slices that had gone uneaten and unwrapped whey protein bars and full water jugs with the lids still on. The table said the same thing as the scoreboard – an opportunity had been lost.

Most players filed past the table, dispersing quickly, away from reality of what had taken place at TCF Bank Stadium, and into another frigid November night. Even with Adrian Peterson coming off his best performance in years, Minnesota rarely got into rhythm offensively against the stout Green Bay front.
“I know that i would never wear a packer outfit to go over to Minnesota and watch the packers and vikings, i just wouldn’t do that because i’m not an instigator”, said Bob Kolbe, a Packers fan.
In Seattle, rookie Thomas Rawls rushed for 209 yards and had two total touchdowns, Tyler Lockett caught a pair of TD passes from Russell Wilson, and the Seahawks got back to.
The Packers defense looked improved on Sunday.
-QB Teddy Bridgewater threw for 296 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. And although the nine-year veteran did reach the end zone on Sunday afternoon, Dom Capers’ defenders limited Peterson to 45 yards rushing on only 13 carries. But the offensive line gave Bridgewater precious little time to throw on most dropbacks and Peterson committed a costly fumble deep in Packers territory in the fourth quarter that helped stunt Minnesota’s comeback attempt. Lacy’s hard, effective running bought Rodgers more time in the pocket. He had 16 completions and 18 incompletions, and that was emblematic of an offense that often appeared out of rhythm and out of sync.
The loss for the Tennessee Titans leaves them in the basement of the AFC South on 2-8, and now in desperate need of a string of wins to get them back into contention.
When the dust settled on Sunday, the Packers and Vikings both boast records of 7-3, but the Packers now own the head-to-head tiebreaker if the playoffs were to start today. Though he led a late rally, many of his passes went wide, and the Packers were trounced by the Detroit Lions, giving that team just its second victory of the season.
For the past month, that’s been the Green Bay Packers.
Now, there is only one question: Can the Packers do it again? The pass defense was burned early when Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph beat Micah Hyde (who injured his hip on the play) for a 47-yard TD pass. Hyde did not return.
My guess: They use those next two games to take an irreversible hold on the division.
The Vikings (7-3) had their six-game winning streak shoved back in their face by a proud Packers team that clearly wasn’t ready to concede a division it has won four straight times. Peterson did not hold back when asked about that.
Green Bay has won four straight division titles, and I think it will win it again, for the same reason it had a season-saving win against Minnesota.
“We didn’t play our game today”, said Johnson, who did not record a reception.
“I just want to put this one behind us”, he said with a weak smile.

For the Vikings, it looked like the moment was too big for them. Lol I know it’s probably not a big deal but it took me by surprise. Welcome to the National Football League in 2015.
