Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos National Football League 2015 Picks & Preview: Packers heavy
Manning has thrown 10 INTs this season, tied for the league lead, and the offense is averaging 23.2 points a game, the lowest since Manning arrived in Denver (6-0).

The bye week has come and gone and first up for the Packers, another undefeated team and the league’s top defense. But the Green Bay Packers proved in that game who is the team to beat in the NFC. Broncos will induct owner Pat Bowlen into Ring of Fame at halftime Sunday….
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Green Bay is favored on the road, as the Packers are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Broncos. Green Bay are slight favourites here as the odds makers aren’t buying Peyton Manning this season and for good cause as he has been awful and putting up career worst numbers despite the team sitting at a ideal 6-0. The Minnesota Vikings are the only team above.
Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers against the St. Louis Rams earlier this season.
Green Bay will be putting its unbeaten streak on the line when it takes on the Broncos who are also holding an immaculate record this season.
It’s the Denver defense that’s stolen the show this season. Unfortunately for the Broncos, their defense won’t save them tonight like they have been able to so far this season.
Winning fixes everything but remember, eventually turnovers catch up to you and if they start racking up losses thanks to interceptions turning into points due to Manning’s decline in play, the Broncos will have much bigger problems in the grand scheme of things. The ground game has not been good at all, Denver is just 29th overall in total yards and yet they are still 6-0. It ranks first in the league in yards allowed and sacks, second in points allowed and takeaways and third in opponent’s passer rating. Defensive end DeMarcus Ware has 4.5 sacks on the year, and he appears to be on track to return after missing the last game with back spasms.
Leading up to Sunday night’s game a lot has been made about the Manning/Rodgers matchup, but it’s likely going to be the other guys – both offensively and defensively – that will decide this game.
“It’s a huge game”, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said.
There is no reason the Packers shouldn’t dominate a Broncos offense that is 30th in rushing, has a banged-up line and has a quarterback with more interceptions (10) than touchdown passes (7). Kubiak cited the pass defense as the key to the Broncos’ success on defense. But Rodgers should help lead Green Bay get into the end zone a few times, and that will be more than enough to defeat Denver and their anemic offense.

The marquee says Aaron Rodgers vs. Peyton Manning, but it’s really which defense will get the better of which quarterback.
