However, “due to illness affecting several members of the band and its crew”, the St. Louis show as well as subsequent dates in Chicago and Detroit have been postponed.

The show affected are the Sept. 20 tour opener in St. Louis, the following date Sept. 21 in Chicago and a Sept. 24 show in Detroit.
They will not, however, make up their September 23 show in Toronto, which would’ve been held at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village. Tickets bought for the original show dates will be honored on the new dates.
“We’re so sad to announce we have to postpone three shows and cancel Toronto”, they said in a statement.
The tour was just announced earlier this month and after just a couple of weeks the band has run into some misfortune.
This is sure to leave some Green Day fans feeling blue.
According to the news release, fans can visit Green Day’s website for updated tour dates and information soon.

The club shows were meant to build the buzz for Green Day’s new album “Revolution Radio“, out October 7.
