Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, the former Republican governor of New Mexico, is trying to appeal as an alternative to Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton is “too big to jail”, a presidential candidate not named Trump is alleging. The number of signatures for independent or third-party presidential candidates required this year is roughly 40,000, while about 25,000 signatures are needed to become a state-recognized party.
“We’re making a strong effort this year because it’s important to be on the ballot in every state to give voters more than two choices”, said Rick Lass, national ballot access coordinator for Stein’s campaign. “They want to shut out any ideas other than their own”, he said. “He’s going to win states because Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are going to take votes away from Hillary Clinton”, Lewandowski concluded. Dean said he could not comment on pending litigation.
A RealClearPolitics polling average shows Johnson with 8.3 percent support and Stein at 3.1 percent support.
Judges have loosened similar requirements elsewhere. As an interim remedy, he set a threshold of 7,500 signatures for Presidential ballot access until the General Assembly has an opportunity to revisit the question.
“So there is precedent around the country about realizing these are impossible thresholds for ordinary people to meet”, young lady said.
Many Democrats blamed Green Party 2000 presidential nominee Ralph Nader for the election of President George W. Bush.

U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Alexander McCoy, who is leaning towards supporting Hillary Clinton for President, asked Stein whether she thought that ISIS is a threat to the U.S. and whether she would use allies in the Middle East to defeat them. This town hall will be the first time many will see him, and the first time they have heard him make the argument for his vice presidential candidacy.
