Greg Jennings says he won’t be playing football anymore, and is excited to pursue his next opportunity.

Veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings on Monday announced his retirement from the National Football League after 10 seasons. Football is over. I’m done.

Jennings, a second-round draft pick out of Western Michigan in 2006, spanned two notable eras in Green Bay history, catching passes from Brett Favre to start his career before Aaron Rodgers took over. He tallied 571 career receptions for 8,291 yards with 64 touchdowns. He played a few seasons in Minnesota before signing with Miami last season. Jennings is coming off a season in which he recorded just 19 receptions for 208 yards and one touchdown in 16 games for the Dolphins.

During his time in Green Bay, Jennings made the Pro Bowl twice and helped the Packers win Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburg Steelers by catchng two TDs in the 31-25 victory.
