Greg Oden will always be remembered as a guy that had all the potential in the world but was unable to stay on the floor in his professional career.

RealGM.com reported a translated version of the news and noted Oden is expected to sign a one-year, $1.2 million deal. Those must’ve fell through, because now Oden is heading to China. Oden has reportedly signed a deal for next season with the Jiangsu Tigers in China, according to Real GM. He has only played in a total of three National Basketball Association seasons, appearing in just 105 of a possible 656 regular season games since being drafted.
Oden attempted a comeback, working out extensively with Ohio State coach Thad Matta, and drew interest from the Hornets and Mavericks. He was the No. 1 overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2007 draft, one spot ahead of Kevin Durant.
Last season, Landry averaged 10.0 points and 3.4 rebounds for CAI Zaragoza in Spain. Despite all the knee problems and reports of depression that came with them, Oden had an opportunity on a team that badly needed size to build himself into a niche.
