The company has just announced the iTrip Clip that can turn any wired pair of headphones into a wireless set.
The iTrip Clip is a Bluetooth adapter that gives corded headphones the wireless capabilities needed to work with smartphones without headphone jacks, like the upcoming iPhone 7 and the Moto Z.
Although no official announcement has been made about Apple doing away with the headphone jack, Griffin has chose to begin offering an accessory created to make the potential transition less painful.
Without mentioning the iPhone 7 directly, Griffin’s website does a good job of teasing the product for those who have already bought into the rumors: “No headphone jack?”
Rumor has it that the iPhone 7 will be missing that 3.5mm audio jack, but there’s still hope for you corded headphones with this $20 gadget.
With that setup, though, you can’t charge your phone and listen to audio at the same time. It can also be used in a auto with an AUX in port but without Bluetooth capability.

The iTrip Clip is priced at $19.99 and will be available soon on Griffin’s online store. What’s more is the adapter has a rechargeable Li-ion battery which boasts 6 hours play/talk time and 180 hours on standby. iTrip Clip also connects to auto stereos with an AUX to listen to any smartphone wirelessly if the vehicle does not already offer Bluetooth connectivity.
