“We know we’re shooters”, said Conley, who had been held to just 15 points total in the Grizzlies’ previous two games, but was strong offensively from start to finish on Sunday, matching his season high.

Zach Lavine scored 25 points to lead Minnesota, which is 0-5 at home this season. Andrew Wiggins added 21 points for the Timberwolves, who dropped their fourth straight overall.

A Conley 3-pointer untied the score and put the Griz ahead 92-89 with about five minutes remaining in the game.

Conley made 7 of 14 and hit 4 of 6 three-pointers.

Memphis entered play last in the National Basketball Association in field goal percentage (40.1), with their season-best a 50.0-percent mark at in on October 29.

The veteran Memphis Grizzlies showed more poise in the final quarter against the young Minnesota Timberwolves to hack out a 114-106 road victory Sunday.

Grizzlies: Green replaced Courtney Lee in the starting lineup, with Tony Allen moving to shooting guard and matching up with Wiggins.

The visiting Grizzlies snapped a four-game losing streak after beating the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, while the Timberwolves suffered a narrow loss to the Indiana Pacers on the same night. Atlanta is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Minnesota.

Rubio has now missed four games with a strained left hamstring, and there’s no timetable yet for his return, according to the Associated Press. Garnett joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Jason Kidd and Elvin Hayes. Before going down, Rubio was averaging 13 points and nine assists a game. Conley is far and away the Grizzlies’ best creator off the dribble, and despite his early season troubles, coach Dave Joerger will likely continue to lean on him heavily.
