‘Grow Home,’ ‘Super Time Force Ultra,’ & ‘Xeodrifter’ Lead September’s
Grow Home was the victor of the first ever PlayStation Plus fan vote, which allowed players to choose which game would be featured for free on the service. Much like August’s lineup, four of September’s six titles will be available on PS4. After thousands of votes, the user base has selected Ubisoft’s Grow Home, a fine enough choice by Shacknews standards. In Grow Home, players will climb a massive plant that stretches from the planet’s surface all the way to his ship in space. Emotional, wordless Teslagrad (PS3/PS4) will be available, while Super Time Force (PS4) brings a more manic gameplay. Its run-and-gun chaos is broken up by artful moments of strategy and puzzling.

On PS4 and PS Vita comes ‘Xeodrifter, ‘ a metroidvania style platformer from Gambitious. It channels classics like Super Metroid and Mega Man, resulting in a familiar but fun 2D adventure.

PS4 and PS3 users will also be able to enjoy Teslagrad for free and test not only their platforming but also their puzzle solving skills. In its Vita-minded Ex rerelease, the game streamlined its sometimes cumbersome systems without sacrificing its infamous difficulty.
