GTA Online Receives New Adversary Mode With Running Back

For many, it just wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without football.

Today, Rockstar Games released a new American football update for Thanksgiving week, available exclusively for Xbox One and PC users, according to worldwide Digital Times. But this won’t be like the golf mini game.

The Running Back adversary mode in GTA Online will feature two teams of up to four players each, making a total of up to eight players. After all, what’s the point of GTA if you’re not wrecking some cars? The objective is that one person in a Benefactor Panto will have to get across the bridge while being protected by other teammates in BF Biftas. Depending on which group you side with, your goal is to either intercept the runner by any means necessary or, on the opposite side of the roadway, guide them safely to the end zone for a pseudo-touchdown.

The GTA Online Adversary mode collection will be expanded today when Running Back joins the fold.

The new experience can only be played on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4, and the development team seems to be unable to deliver any more new content on older home consoles, because of tech limitations. This Running Back mode will be playable across three different bridges across the Grand Theft Auto V Los Santos map, giving gamers a little bit of variety and a change in scenery for those who really find themselves enjoying the mode.
