The blog post doesn’t reveal when the next update for GTA 5 and GTA Online is going to be released but at least PS4 and Xbox One owners now know that they have something to look out for now when the update arrives. Rockstar has made several improvements to the software, as detailed below. The PC version was the last to arrive, making its debut in April of this year, but it also packed plenty of exclusive features.

Ambient Audio and Sound Effects Library: Add ambient and atmospheric sound design with a library of audio tracks to help bring your scenes to life or add sound effects from a collection of Foley and other sfx.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 receive the video-crafting Rockstar Editor mode next month.

You’ll also be able to copy and paste audio settings from one area of your project to another.

A new Director Mode lets you better control your time of day settings, and spawn air or water vehicles.

Snapmatic Integration: Players can now export exact stills to serve as marker points for Snapmatic, opening up the possibilities when crafting the ideal camera angle.

New Fonts: You’ll now have more style options than ever for your titles and credits – we’re tripling the library of available fonts with new styles. Oddly enough, Rockstar is still soliciting feature suggestions and gameplay changes in their news updates, probably in hopes of maintaining a full price on next-gen + PC for as long as possible.
