Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2: Benicio Del Toro to Return

A larger question was whether or not Benicio del Toro would return to play Taneleer Tivan, The Collector. Now, for the sequel of “Guardians”, Pratt will be back along with his crew, comprising Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel). With his only intent of trying to increase his collection, it might mean that he is more likely to do both good and bad actions that are beneficial to him.

The Star Trek actress posted a video on her husband’s Facebook page singing the praises of del Toro’s performance in Sicario before signing off with, “See you on Guardians!”

The video, which is mostly in Spanish, thanks Del Toro for the work he did in his latest film, Sicario. She said at the end, “I’ll see you on Guardians”. It is possible that the script has not been finalized at this point, as Gunn has recently revealed that he had got the permission from Marvel’s legal department to use the name “Sneepers” in the story. Warner Bros. and DC are still playing catch up though, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been fantastic over the past few years and only looks like getting better.

The Collector played an important role in Guardians of the Galaxy, connecting our heroes to the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos’ quest to obtain all six Infinity stones.
