Guardiola on Bayern balancing act: I can multi-task like a woman

It has always been an open secret that Manchester City had their eyes on Guardiola to fire their own bid for European success having failed to make any impression in recent seasons since becoming one of the world’s richest clubs and twice winning the Premier League.

However, Hiddink’s contract expires at the end of the season and Pellegrini has confirmed that he is leaving Manchester City and will be a free agent ahead of 2016-17, Pep Guardiola the man set to take charge at the Etihad Stadium. Many believe that the Spaniard pulling the strings in City offers a better future for the club.

“There has been a little unease recently among some fans about Pellegrini and the talk of Guardiola coming”.

Pellegrini also has had to deal with large egos and with John Terry about to leave the club at the end of the season, it surely will be easier for the Chilean to get his message across to the rest of the team.

“I think the solution is to find coaches who are closer to the local environment”.

He added: “But it is not his first year”.

That kind of money would see Toure become the third highest-paid player in world football.

He was quoted saying by ESPN FC: “No, no, no, no. I am not thinking about that, I am just trying to have a good season”. Right now, we are living in the moment. “We really enjoy playing under Manuel, he has been a top manager for us”, The England keeper told MCTV.

“But over two seasons, three seasons you’d imagine he definitely has that in him”.

The Italian’s spell at City ended the following year amid rumours of dressing room unrest but Hart maintains the current squad is fully supportive of Pellegrini, as the League Cup finalists retain ambitions in the FA Cup and Champions League. “Around about the same time of the year it was announced that Jupp Heynckes would leave the club and Pep was going to replace him in the summer”.

And Parker said: “He has been an absolute gentleman and dealing with this situation the way he has is a credit to him”. The Spanish boss admitted he started negotiations with the Premier League side in May a year ago, but played down concerns his new job would impact his work at the Bundesliga side as he is “like a woman who can multi-task”.
