Although she said in July that she had turned down the network’s offer to return, it was announced on Tuesday that she would be returning along with new co-hosts Paula Faris and Candace Cameron Bure.
Tickets begin at $50 for non-members and $48 for members. However, she left in 2013 to pursue other career opportunities.
In this April 1, 2013 file photo, TV personality Joy Behar arrives at the “Lucky Guy” opening Night in New York. On Tuesday the former NBC 5 sports anchor/reporter was named co-host of ABC’s long-running daytime talk show.
Recently, it was also announced that co-host, Nicolle Wallace, would be leaving the show, after one year. “Sitting alongside this diverse group of accomplished women, “The View” will once again be a platform where many voices and views are welcome”. “And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight”.
Watch Joy Behar reflect on leaving The View in this clip below from 2013.
ABC reports that the upcoming 19th season of “The View” will premiere September 8. These include Padma Lakshmi of Bravo’s “Top Chef”, TLC style maven Stacy London, actress and model Molly Sims, CNN political commentator Ana Novarro and Sherri Shepherd, who was once a full-time “View” co-host.
