That’s up 38% from Monday, when Michael Strahan welcomed guest host Shay Mitchell of Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars, and up 62% from the show’s week-ago rating of 2.9/10. In fact, we recently learned that Michael Strahan would be leaving far sooner than the expected September date.

As the world now knows (whether it’s interested or not), mere minutes before it was announced to the public, Ripa, 45, was blindsided by news that her “Live!”.

Now the morning show queen is back, and she wasted no time diving right into the controversy surrounding Strahan’s impending departure. “This is a tremendous opportunity and I couldn’t be-and we couldn’t be-prouder of you and everything we’ve accomplished together”, she said as she looked towards Strahan.

Tuesday marked Kelly’s first day back from her hiatus, which she made a decision to take after hearing Strahan would be leaving at about the same time as everyone else.

“Who knows how long it will take [to find a replacement]”, a source added to People.

Who are those two people you ask?

Ripa’s journey to success and limelight was a bizaare and uncanny one because she landed the job without proper measures and preparation. They all came on a lot last time and she loved them.

Ripa said the episode sparked an important discussion with her bosses over communication and “respect in the workplace”.

According to the source, actor Jerry O’Connell is being considered to replace Strahan, although Ripa “hopes Anderson Cooper or Andy Cohen gets the job”. As the furry animal screamed, Ripa quipped, “I want to take him into contract negotiations with me!” The move was initially supposed to happen in September, though some supposed friction between Strahan and Ripa has moved Strahan’s last day up to May 13. And yesterday Kelly once again photographed with yet another book in her hand, this time it was Anderson Cooper’s book.

Meanwhile, one other question lingers over all the speculation about “Live:” Will Ripa still be there a few years from now? (Note: She served a major glare into the camera lens when she said “respect in the workplace.”) Her monologue then went on the ensure viewers that apologies had been made and the parent company of the show has made “Live!” a priority.
