Guitar Hero Live’s GHTV on-demand catalogue is free this weekend

If you picked up Guitar Hero Live for Wii U, your music catalog has diovan website just gotten a lot bigger.

In celebration of the new content, Activision is giving allGuitar Hero Live players free on-demand access to the entire GHTV catalogue throughout the whole weekend, starting at 12pm this Friday, 6 November. These songs will only be playable through a special in-game event but will be added to the on-demand song list in the future. Three new Premium Shows will be added.

Despite mixed reviews citing microtransactions as a downside to the newest iteration of Guitar Hero, Activision stated in its Quarter 3 2015 report a “strong early reception from fans”, noting that the average “guitar hero” plays the game for roughly two hours a day. As we explained in our review you can earn plays through being good at the game, or naturally you can use real-world money.

Playable footage from the band’s live concert DVD “Alive and Burning”, will go live on Friday.

Guitar Hero Live starts its new content rollout this weekend, expanding its play-along music channel with a host of new music. It features the first ever recorded live performance during the Black Mass Tour at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.

– Legendary Headliners Premium Show, including “Monster” by Paramore, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy and “First Date” by Blink-182 is live now.

Activision and the Guitar Hero Live crew are actively updating its game and GHTV with new songs, live footage and music videos.

In any case, Guitar Hero Live is a good example of how modern gaming trends can change well-established ideas.

Songs by Weezer, Judas Priest, System of a Down, and Alice in Chains are rumored to be coming to GHTV, the online database for all of Guitar Hero Live’s songs.
