Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina won the toss and elected to bowl against hosts Kings XI Punjab in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match, here today. Kings XI Punjab who is not up to the mark last season is pretty confident about the match against the new team Gujarat Lions.

IPL Match Date: 11 April 2016, Monday. The match is to be played in Mohali which is the home ground of KXIP. Dashing opener Virender Sehwag has taken a new role of mentoring the team this year. Kings XI had never performed up to their mark barring the 2014 season where they have reached the finals and lost the match. Thus this is a very strong team led by Suresh Raina. For the 1st time, Gujarat is playing in the IPL with a good squad so it is interesting to see their performance as they look to build a good start for the season and their IPL journey.
