“Tonette and I send our thoughts and prayers to the students of Antigo High School, their families, and the community of Antigo”, the statement said.

“I feel absolutely bad about the people that were harmed in it”, Schwarz said.
“I can’t get into the specifics on that”, Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller. Two people were wounded. Both students, one male and one female, received non-life threatening injuries.
The wounded male student’s family released a statement through Roller saying their 18-year-old son is “doing well” after coming through “a long surgery”.
“There’s also another couple with them, walking behind them, and from my understanding, they immediately tended to those two victims”.
Though students came to school as usual – attendance rates seemed typical – it was anything but a normal day, Zamzow said.
Roller says officers in a nearby parking lot heard gunshots, and an officer fired upon the shooter, “stopping the threat”.
The state Department of Justice has taken over the case because it involves a police shooting.
About 800 students attend Antigo High School, according to the Unified School District of Antigo, a town of about 8,000 residents.
Antigo police have a press conference scheduled for 2:00 Monday afternoon. Reed’s son, Matthew, only one of her three high school-age children, had reportedly already left the high school before the prom shooting took place just before midnight.
Authorities have not said if Wagner targeted anyone in his shooting. The suspect reportedly possessed a high-powered rifle and a large ammunition clip.
He showed up with a rifle and opened fire on students of Antigo High School leaving the celebration in Wisconsin, injuring two.
Classes resumed at the school today, Monday April 25, 2016, with grief counselors on hand to assist any students. Officials say there will be a heightened police presence around the high school over the next few days.
The shooter, Jakob E. Wagner, 18, has died from injuries after being shot by police.
A school district administrator said it appeared Wagner meant to go into the dance and start shooting randomly. Police have stated that a former student opened fire on revelers as they were exiting the school at 11:00 p.m. this past Saturday.
Authorities have not revealed a motive for the shooting outside Antigo High School in northern Wisconsin and declined to comment Monday on whether bullying may have been a factor.

Ms fisher said the bullying, which may have been violent, occurred since at least middle school and persisted through high school.
