“It’s nearly that time”, he said.
Gurley has made a steady progression, from individual drills only in training camp, to having the “yellow beanie” _ which signifies no-contact removed at the end of the preseason. “It’s not my decision”. Well, it’s both our decisions together…. We’ll see how he does. Gurley is inching closer, perhaps to the point that he could debut in Week 3.
“We’ll see”, Gurley said.
“Yeah, there’s always that possibility”, Fisher told reporters.
“They’re both very deserving of it, in my opinion”, Fisher said.
This week, things are more promising for Gurley, the 10th pick in the 2015 draft.
“That’s still a part of the process”, Gurley said. “Just being back used to things and getting in the flow of the offense”.

His teammates took notice. “He was there congratulating everybody, really into it. I assume that’ll be even turned up a few notches when he’s playing”. You see that on the field. “He’s coming, he’s missed a lot of time”. “I feel like if I’m at a race, as soon as the race is over you have to go right back into the pit stop. Obviously, he’ll be a big help”. Look for Tre Mason to return as the Rams’ lead back in Week 2 against the Redskins, with Benny Cunningham replacing Mason on passing downs. September. Head coach Jeff Fisher said the Auburn product had a good workout prior to kickoff, bit it wasn’t worth further risking Mason’s health to play him.
Cornerback Trumaine Johnson, who left Sunday’s game against Seattle with concussion like symptoms, has been progressing through the protocol and is close to returning.
And that’s coming from coach Jeff Fisher.
