Guus Hiddink: Chelsea boss wants ‘ambition’ at Man Utd
“[Costa] focused himself where he’s good, and there he’s very risky”, Hiddink added.

“Now we have to go with confidence to Manchester United [on Monday]”.
Guus Hiddink thanked Chelsea fans for their support during the 2-2 Premier League draw against Watford at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
His successor, Hiddink, may have come in and done a superb job in 2009 following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari, but the Dutchman has a tough job on his hands as he now takes the team to Old Trafford without Diego Costa, who will be suspended for the game. “I am the one who wants to speak first with the board of Manchester United and with my members of staff and players – and not with you”. Of course, he has this talent, but he is also having to confront the demands of the Premier League, which are much higher in the intensity of the game during 90 minutes.
Costa put Chelsea ahead and salvaged a point after a Troy Deeney penalty and an effort from Odion Ighalo had put Watford ahead. I think they need time for that.
He faces his old team at Vicarage Road tomorrow and said: “I didn’t play enough to show my quality at Spurs so that’s why I come here and started at zero and got a chance to enjoy and show what I can do on the pitch with Watford”.
“It is always nice with the past we have, and the handsome feelings, playing at big stadiums, for intense games like we had against Watford and which it will be against Manchester United as well”.
Hiddink’s side, though, could have claimed all three points had Oscar not failed to convert a late penalty.
Chelsea’s first game since the departure of Jose Mourinho had been played in a hostile atmosphere, with some Blues supporters targeting those players they felt had under-performed under the previous manager.
“The teams who are, even in December, competing for being in the first four, like Leicester, Crystal Palace, and Watford, it’s not just by surprise, because they’re well-organized, they have skilful players – and then you can be beaten also by them”.
“I’m completely satisfied. Chelsea were really motivated, very strong, very aggressive, so I am happy with the performance and really happy with the result”, Flores told reporters.

“But the team reacted as they did and that’s why we can be confident they have shown what they are obliged to – they have been very professional”.
