Gwen Stefani Brings Fan on Stage Who Has Been Bullied for Years
On Wednesday night, the artist made 12-year-old Brandon Burford’s dream come true in an emotional moment caught on video.

It was a once in a lifetime moment for Brandon Burford.
“My son was bullied from first to fifth grade”, Stefani read, holding the poster that got her attention.
The 12-year-old boy said he was bullied every day in school for five years. “He would come home every day upset, but he would go to his room and listen to your music and smile”.
The music made him dance and sing and, most importantly, smile.
While she was in between songs, the No Doubt frontwoman spotted a sign in the audience and started reading it out loud. “All about Brandon. Rockstar”, laughed Maria.
The mother of three young boys, who split from Gavin Rossdale, her husband of 13 years, last summer (15), later took to Instagram and revealed the meeting with her bullied fan had had a big impact on her. He said he’s never taking it off.
Once he was onstage, Ms. Stefani hugged the clearly emotional fan who raised his arms into the air like the absolute victor that he is and whilst the crowd cheered him on, Gwen gave him a private pep chat.
The pop star posted on social media this week after one of her concerts, showing a video of a young man being brought on stage.
