“I just want to share a song that I wrote recently”, she told the crowd.

The 46-year-old singer then belted the song’s jaded lyrics as a video clip of her holding back tears streamed behind her.

I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you.

Obviously drawing on her 20 years with Rossdale, it features lyrics such as ‘I don’t know why I cried, but I think it’s because I remembered for the first time since I hates you, that I used to love you’.

Gwen Stefani Used To Love You Single! She tweeted Saturday that the concert’s encore song would be her new single.

Stefani filed her petition for divorce on August 3, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split.

Clearly, the breakup from her husband of 13 years is taking a toll on the “Hollaback Girl” singer, but if anyone can handle a breakup and still look absolutely lovely, it’s definitely Gwen!

The couple are parents to three children – Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.

“These songs are taking on new meaning!”
