Inevitably, the conversation quickly turned to whether Gwen’s new boyfriend Blake Shelton had anything to do with her fast work, though the 46-year-old was reticent to tell Ellen if the country music star was her creative muse.
DeGeneres complied, then suggested they look at photos, all of which happened to include Shelton and Stefani. Stefani giggles back as an answer. “There was something about that time that I sort of wasn’t [though]”, Stefani explained to DeGeneres.
Ellen joked that she texted Gwen about falling while rollerskating to which, Gwen jokingly replied via text, “That was like a double, bitch”.
When Ellen asked, “So when he popped the big question… about you being his mentor, how did he do that?”
“Did you rehearsal that before?” But leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to ask Stefani what we’ve been positively dying to know… “Yeah, I did”, DeGeneres admitted, smiling. “I thought it out”. “I got so much out of it”.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been tight since they revealed their relationship.
The Inquisitr noted that Stefani has already three kids from her estranged husband while Shelton isn’t a father yet, which is probably why it wouldn’t be a problem for him should Stefani is now carrying their child.
