Gwen Stefani to launch a range with Urban Decay
Gwen worked super closely with the Urban Decay team on everything from the colors to the cosmetics formulas to the packaging.

Stefani and Zomnir met back in the early days of No Doubt and UD.
And with a successful clothing line and fragrance collection under her belt, moving to the cosmetics realm of the beauty industry was a natural transition for the makeup-obsessed star.
“She really knows what she’s doing in terms of makeup”, says Urban Decay Chief Creative Officer and founding partner Wende Zomnir. “We had a lot to share”, Wende said.
After dazzling audiences for almost a decade with her pure punk rock vocals and cool-girl style, Gwen Stefani is finally breaking into the beauty biz. Literally a shack. And I remember hearing the song ‘I’m Just a Girl, ‘ and she’s on the cover of some local music magazine, and I remember thinking, ‘That girl’s so cool. I’ve often found that those two things go hand-in-hand, but it’s still pretty annoying, TBH.
The brand is so far staying mum as to the specific products to be included. Urban Decay’s brand would need someone equally dynamic, eccentric, and full of energy to deliver it. The artist is just as excited.
After 19 years and a fateful encounter with a mutual designer friend, Wende eventually did-look at where that got them.
Countless YouTube beauty gurus have tried to replicate Gwen Stefani’s signature makeup look (often involving a bold red lip and heavily-lined eyes), but soon they’ll get the chance to use makeup officially sanctioned by the No Doubt singer herself. “Gwen doesn’t leave the house without it. It’s really important to her”. “We’ve made and created products that I actually wear every single day”. The announcement is enough to cause makeup mavens to lose their minds, but just wait until you see what she has in store!
Seriously, if we were ever to trust ANY musician about makeup, it would be Gwen, whose trademark red pout is all of the lipstick #Goals we’ve ever had. “She truly represents the Urban Decay spirit”.
