Gwyneth Paltrow launches lifestyle publishing imprint goop
“Consciously uncoupling” has become part of the lingo thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin and following the finalization of their divorce, the Oscar-winning actress is ready to laugh about it.

Craig Barritt/Getty Images for Fast Company Gwyneth Paltrow speaks during “The Business Of Goop” event Tuesday in NY City. “It’s such a hard time personally and then you have this added layer of criticism”. “Fortunately, even though we couldn’t stay in a romantic relationship, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships”. And what would be that effect on your children and your community?’
Couric also asked Paltrow if she’s ever had a non-Goop moment, to which the actress replied, “I do”.
As previously reported, Paltrow filed for divorce this past April, and the friendly exes have already moved on. (They first met when Paltrow guest-starred on the Fox comedy Glee.) Martin briefly romanced Jennifer Lawrence, and is now dating Peaky Blinders actress Annabelle Wallis.
While Kim Kardashian’s nude pics in Paper magazine have always been credited with breaking the internet, Gwyneth Paltrow claims her Goop announcement that she was separating from Chris Martin was what actually took down the blogosphere.
However, Paltrow still believes all press is good press for Goop.
Paltrow’s goop press will be curated in conjunction with Grand Central Life & Style, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing.
“It’s All Easy” won’t be Paltrow’s first book. “One book a year will be from Goop”, she said.
“Books are back”, quipped Gersh.

Paltrow agreed. “To Lisa’s point, I think, in a media company, it’s good when people are talking about your content”, she said. A few people read it online. “What that really means is, even though today you hate me and you never want to see me again, we’re going to brunch because it’s Sunday and that’s what we’re going to do”. I have un-Goop moments all the time-but I don’t think it’s un-Goop.
