“IT’S OUT IM CRYING”, Hailee tweeted after the song was released early Friday morning (August 7).

‘This is INSANE, ‘ she wrote on her social media pages expressing her disbelief about the premiere of Love Myself.

The 18-year-old – who showed the world her chops as the standout newcomer in Pitch flawless 2 – brings all the self-confidence a girl could need to the empowering anthem.

Steinfeld got here to fame after enjoying Mattie in True Grit, and went on to star as Juliet in a Carlo Carlei adaptation of Romeo & Juliet and Petra in Ender’s Recreation. The starlet is repped by Republic Records.

While “Love Myself” is clearly designed as pop fun complete with an echoing chorus of people screaming “hey”, Steinfeld has a richer, less-produced side to her voice as well.

Do you LOVE Hailee’s debut single?

“Honestly, music has always been such a huge part of my life and always a part of my plan”, Steinfeld said on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. It all happened very organically, and it’s been incredible!
