Halloween tips for safe trick or treating
Each child could receive a dollar per pound of candy, and they could receive up to five dollars total. Someone in the group should carry a flashlight.

Approximately 3,000 sex offenders under supervision will be contacted by their Parole Officer on Halloween night. Hey, those folks are adults and have probably already hit their cavity quota – if there is one – and the treats are likely shared well anyway among the recipients. They should always be accompanied by a parent or another trusted adult.
Other police forces reported some alleged efforts to tamper with treats handed out on Halloween.
Consider alternative activities to trick or treating such as events sponsored by entities around the county. “Equally important is that the Halloween Candy Program provides every American child the opportunity to learn about service and generosity”.
In both years and in both cases, a majority of the 479 participants chose the Obama table. People can drop off candy during business hours from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 42 Public Square in Holley.

Some kids look forward to trick-or-treating all year long, but you want to make sure that they’re still staying safe.
There are two great organizations collecting candy.
“As we head into the weekend before Halloween, we are calling on Texans to take security and safety seriously”, said DPS Director Steven McCraw.
