Halo 5: Guardians Will Not Feature Any Campaign DLC
“Guardians” was released recently, and long-time series fans are eager to see how Spartan Locke and Master Chief’s story will play out.

Nathan “nachosjustice” Lawrence has put in the hard yards on Halo 5: Guardians, completing the game alone, and then in co-op (with our very own Joaby).
The decision to pare Halo 5’s core multiplayer mechanics back makes it more approachable for new players, but it also gives it a higher skill ceiling. Despite what we thought was an underwhelming story, we won’t see any expansion from the developers.
I hope you liked the campaign for Halo 5: Guardians because that’s all you’re going to get from it. That’s the latest from Creative Director Josh Holmes in an interview with Red Bull.
Halo is one of the biggest franchises in gaming- highly acclaimed, massively selling, and among other things, one of the first gaming properties ever to cross over outside of video games and leverage a cross media strategy properly.
“While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo unvierse, we do not now have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians”, Holmes said.

The news doesn’t really come as a surprise, as 343 Industries pulled off one of the best multiplayer experiences for any “Halo” game, Forbes reports. In Halo 5’s Arena multiplayer – a playlist that includes Halo classics like slayer, free-for-all, and SWAT modes – the strategy comes in these moment-to-moment decisions.
