As the statement says, “343 Industries worked closely with the team at Havok to integrate Havok AI to help bring to life the game characters”.

Guardians’ multiplayer component launched several different modes, including the classic Slayer and the new paintball-esque Breakout, but there was one noticeable omission from the bunch: Big Team Battle, a huge take on Slayer featuring vehicles and a heavy emphasis on teamwork.

Of the four new maps introduced in the update, three of them – Deadlock, Guillotine, and Recurve – were designed with input from members of the community.

343 Industries had to pull off a few rather impressive technical wizardry to get Halo 5: Guardians, its latest first person shooter, running at 60 frames per second.

First of the four maps is Basin, a place inspired by Valhalla and featuring a good amount of rugged terrain for players to explore. Much of those posted are still in silhouette, so their looks would be revealed later as the release of Big Team Battle comes closer.

Speaking of maps, avid “Halo 5” multiplayer combatants may find that at least one of those has been removed from the regular rotation.

The new maps come inspired by classic battlegrounds like Standoff, Burial Mounds, and Longbow among others.

It is clear from the huge changes in the campaign that 343 Industries really were pulling out all the stops on how this story was told, as well as played. Many games would often have updates that would rebalance the game so as to continue having it enjoyable for most players.
