Halo: The Master Chief Collection Will Get Another Content Update, No Date

It is expected that the next update for the Halo The Master Chief collection could be “infection”. So far, no possible changes to the zombie multiplayer mode have been revealed though “Halo” fans may not have to wait long for more information from the developer.

“The playlist team continues to work on future updates, and it’s quite likely that we’ll be talking more about things like Infection in the coming weeks”, says the post.

Another feature discussed on the blog was the recently added “Action Sack” playlist, which allows fans to play in several game types from each of the “Halo” games in the “Master Chief Collection”.

Infection could be the next DLC game mode. Tech Times has also reported that many fans of the franchise are planning to boycott the new installment since the split-screen feature has been an integral part of “Halo”. In the game mode, one player begins as the infected and attempts to kill all other players to spread the infection until only one player is left alive.

More information will be released by 343 in the coming weeks on new game modes. “We’re continuing to keep a very close eye on your feedback on Waypoint, Twitter, r/Halo, and elsewhere, and prioritizing items within the next update based on said feedback”, the developer said.

“Since its release, it’s been consistently ranked towards the top, and for a few days this past week, it even saw more players than any other playlist”, said 343 Industries about the Action Sack playlist.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection had major problems when it launched in late 2014, but since then, the developers have fixed the technical issues and the matchmaking and have offered all the ODST content, which was missing on launch.
