Hamilton demands answers from Mercedes over engine failure
“Hamilton can not say there is sabotage”, the F1 legend is quoted by El Mundo Deportivo.

“My questions really are to Mercedes”, he said. “On one side, we’ve had the most incredible success these past two years, for which I’m so grateful”.
“Then we had a splurge of good results, and then a bunch of hard results, and this similar kind of feeling that I had back in Barcelona (where he and Rosberg collided on track)”. But I feel I have been blessed with so many opportunities.
“It was definitely a very exciting race for us today, with some great battles”, Alonso said after the race.
In the wake of Hamilton’s TV outbursts, Mercedes cancelled the driver’s usual written media engagements but he later cooled down and backtracked.
Mercedes later changed their mind in what seemed like an apparent bid to stem the hostile fall-out from Hamilton’s comments in the immediate aftermath of his retirement. “This is a mechanical sport, with so much technology, but sometimes you get blindsided by situations with no rational explanation”, he said. “We were missing speed and we never had the chance to challenge the cars in front”. “We feel his pain”. “Sometimes you just need things to swing your way”, said Ricciardo, whose tears during the Australian anthem played after the race mixed freely with the copious sweat generated in the tropical conditions, which generated track temperatures that consistently topped 50° C.
During the Mercedes team-mates’ first duel for the title in 2014, Hamilton took just three races to overcome a 29-point advantage for Rosberg after the summer break and went on to win the title. With smoke still coming from the rear of the vehicle, the reigning world champion came to a halt with his head in his hands, knowing that his pursuit of a fourth world title had just become significantly more hard. “If that’s what I’ve got to do, because I’ll do whatever it takes to see through the race”. This is probably the sweatiest race to win and do a shoey, but for me it’s not so bad, I felt a bit sorry for the others though having to drink from my shoe, but the crowd was encouraging me! Pointing upwards, Hamilton insisted he was referring to a “higher power”.
Hamilton dropped 43 points behind Rosberg after the first four races, in large part because of two identical engine failures in qualifying in consecutive races in China and Russian Federation that forced him to start down the grid. “I hope I can (cheer) him up”, said Lauda.
“We work for both cars in the same way”.

“I am so gutted for Lewis. He will not accuse the team”. At the time it appeared as though they were fighting over second place behind Hamilton, but just one lap later the pair came across the yellow flags for the smoking Mercedes and moved up to second and third. “First, that Nico without any blame gets turned around and second that I’m standing here and the race is still going on”.
