Zimbabwe all-rounder Elton Chigumbura has stepped down from the captaincy after leading his team to a series-levelling 18-run victory against Bangladesh in the fourth Twenty20 worldwide in Khulna.

His heroics were then followed by Neville Madziva who grabbed 4-34 as the hosts were dismissed for 162 in 19 overs.
Zimbabwe will now be looking to deliver similar sort of performance and deny Bangladesh a yet another series win at home.
But Madziva sealed the victory with two wickets in his final spell, giving the visitors a significant confidence boost in the build-up to the World Twenty20 which begins in India in early March.
The opening batsman smashed eight fours and five sixes to lift the tourists, who kept the series alive on Wednesday, to an imposing 180 for four after opting to make first use.
Sibanda flashed Mashrafe Mortaza to Shakib Al Hasan at cover after making just four runs but Richard Mutumbami and Masakadza put on 80 runs in the second wicket to give the African side a flying start.
Malcolm Waller and Richmond Mutumbami scored 36 and 32 runs respectively for Zimbabwe.
Describing his elevation for the top job as an “honour”, Chigumbura, who ends his second stint as captain, reiterated his commitment towards continuing as a senior member, and said the time was right for someone else to take over.
Elton Chigumbura has resigned from his post as Zimbabwe captain in three formats of the game, Zimbabwe Cricket announced on Friday (January 22).
“I thought the guys showed a lot of character to come back from 2-0 down”.
