Hampton native Tyrod Taylor loses his offensive coordinator

Ryan Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets put a rough start to the season behind them with a big rebound victory.

After a 0-2 start following Thursday’s loss against the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills are reportedly firing offensive coordinator Greg Roman. In the first two games of the season, the Bills combined for just 553 total yards.

LeSean McCoy, in my opinion is simply not living up to expectations in Buffalo, and honestly, I think it’s time the Bills either go in a different direction at HB or address the situation either through free agency, or the draft..

It is no coincidence that these changes come after a loss to the Jets.

According to multiple sources, Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula convened private meetings Friday morning with several offensive standouts to discuss the offense. Lynn will have extra time to prepare for his first opponent, the Arizona Cardinals. They will need to pull an upset in one of those games to avoid an 0-4 start.

It sure looks like the Bills wait for a playoff appearance will continue this season. “I think he’s going to do a great job”.

The Bills promoted Anthony Lynn from running backs coach to offensive co-ordinator to replace Roman. If this is going to be Rex’s final season in Buffalo, he wants to do it his way.

No, this is certainly not the Rex Ryan defense of old.

ESPN first reported Roman’s dismissal.

That doesn’t mean it will work. The Jets, four days removed from racking up seven sacks, didn’t take down the elusive Taylor once.

-PASSING DEFENSE: D. Sure, the good news is Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (18-for-30, 297 yards, three touchdowns, one interception) accounted for more than half their passing yardage on two plays, but the bad news is those two plays were an 84-yard touchdown pass to WR Marquise Goodwin and a 71-yard touchdown pass to ex-Jets WR Greg Salas. The move is quite surprising given the fact that it wasn’t Buffalo’s offense that resulted in the loss Thursday, but Buffalo’s defense, as they gave up 493 offensive yards.
