A spokesperson for the Attorney General’s office confirmed to FOX 7 that investigators recently visited Planned Parenthood clinics in Houston.

On Tuesday, members of the group Women Betrayed rallied in cities across the country, including in Orlando.

The protest and legislation follow a video that was secretly recorded in California of a Planned Parenthood official discussing the cost of providing fetal body parts for medical research with anti-abortion activists posing as tissue buyers.

Protesters rallied outside the U.S. Capitol Tuesday morning after another video was released showing alleged undercover discussions of questionable activity at Planned Parenthood. “Rallies like this here in Columbus and across our nation today allow us to speak up and to speak out against the abhorrent actions of Planned Parenthood“. In the footage, Planned Parenthood officials speak about their group’s work in tissue-donation programs.

Capital New York reports the effort comes as de Blasio declared his intention to block GOP efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. They say fetal tissue is not sold but donated in the name of science to help cure diseases and improve vaccines.

But Republicans on the presidential campaign trail and Congress have vowed to strip Planned Parenthood of its federal funding.

A Butler County state representative is sponsoring a bill that would ultimately strip millions of dollars in funding from the state’s 27 Planned Parenthood facilities.

In anticipation of the hearing, a rally was held Tuesday morning by an anti-abortion group.

“Hillary Clinton’s hands are stained by accepting this money, and she needs to immediately return every red cent she has received from Planned Parenthood employees”, he said.

“I believe in my heart this is going to be their undoing”, she said.

The recent release of videos suggesting Planned Parenthood makes money off of aborted fetuses triggered at least two state investigations.

“I think the part that was upsetting to people was the way that people were speaking of it, but I feel like that’s what doctors and scientists have to do at a certain point to distance themselves from a lot of the the hard things they have to deal with in their professions”, said Syracuse resident Shauna Dahlke.
