Harbaugh Sounds Off on Kaepernick Protest
Colin Kaepernick’s controversial protest of the national anthem Saturday has caused quite a bit of upset nationally.

When San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat in protest during the national anthem, he caused quite a stir within the military community.
-Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he respected Kaepernick’s right to his decision, although he didn’t necessarily agree with the way he’s going about it.
It is far too risky to protest the American flag and what it represents but clearly more needs to be done to foster better race relations in this country.
Right now, we have a man by the name of Donald Trump who is running for president of the United States and his slogan is, “Make America great again”.
MI football coach Jim Harbaugh took to Twitter Monday to clarify his thoughts on the actions of Colin Kaepernick.
San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick is taking a stand against the country he says is still oppressing black people. When there’s significant change, and I feel like that flag represents what it’s supposed to represent, and this country is representing people the way it’s supposed to, I’ll stand’.
“There is also a deeper meaning to what he did”, Sherman said of Kaepernick, his one-time archrival.
“I only wish Mr. Kaepernick could see the emotional and psychological challenges that our officers face following a fatal encounter”, Halloran wrote.
There are a lot of servicemen who died for that freedom, and that’s what I remember often when I hear the national anthem.
“[Former NFL coach] Buddy Ryan would always have us stand on the sideline at attention, and he would film the playing of the National Anthem, and if you moved at all, that was a $1500 fine”, Hill said.
You can be willing to bet that Stewart has never had to worry about being racially profiled during his time growing up in the sticks of in the same way that Kaepernick says he was.
Kaepernick has been outspoken on social media about similar issues, providing his 845,000 Twitter followers and 1.3 million Instagram followers with daily updates about racial injustices.
I personally have the right to disagree with him. Some say he should have went about it a different way.
