Hardcore Mode Coming To Driveclub In February

The new gameplay preview for the widely popular racing series “Driveclub” revealed that there will be a new option for players to enjoy when updates for February are released.

The updates and patches now continue despite the game now being more than year old. He later added, “No new leaderboards in this update”. With the feature enabled, you won’t be able to rely on familiar assists like traction and stability control.

PlayStation 4 exclusive Driveclub is going to get a Hardcore mode next month, this has been confirmed by game director Paul Rustchynsky, he revealed this bit of information over Twitter. He went on to confirm that at the time of release, leaderboards will not be activated for this game mode, though I assume it will arrive sometime down the line. Other assists are also turned off when playing on Hardcore, ensuring you’ll have to be extremely mindful to stay on the track.

The director also responded to some fan queries asking if they could turn off just one driving aid, in which he responded that all of the changes cannot be customized.

Driveclub had multiple issues when it released in October 2014, with the online element of the game being the main problem.
