Harrison Ford has a fan in Trump

But while Old Mother Harrison’s empty cupboard of fucks might have shattered Star Wars’ fans dreams of one day looking deeply into his eyes and hearing him whisper, “I know”, there is an upside to all this septuagenarian detachment, namely that as long as it’s not about Han Solo, Ford’s up for all kinds of silliness. However, Ford took issue with Trump saying he loved him because he “stood up for America”. In an interview with the New York Times, Trump said “My favorite was Harrison Ford on the plane”.

“It’s a movie. Donald, it was a movie”, Ford said into the camera.

Daisy plays Rey in the upcoming movie and the latest trailer released in China showed a glimpse of her speaking to BB-8 asking “Where do you come from?” and replying: “Classified, really?“.

“There was a western show I had been chosen for and I had to make a choice so I asked George Lucas if he thought he would use me but he said he didn’t know so I went for the western – I had to work”.

“He arrived on set in a limo and when he jumped out of the vehicle two or three thousand women just started screaming and I thought to myself, ‘This guy must be famous!'” “So, he’s not only going to live there, he’s going to run the show?”

As for how “The Force Awakens” has come together, Ford praised the storytelling, which has been carefully crafted over a number of years: “I’m pleased to see the skill with which the story has been rendered…I think it all came together very well”.

Safe to say Ford didn’t return the love.
