Harrison Ford’s excited about new co-stars in ‘Force Awakens’
Lupita Nyong’o’s mysterious pirate Maz Kanata makes a brief appearance in the latest Disney Channel behind-the-scenes feature for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens“.

“This is a place where non-fans can come and celebrate the whole stories, all of the movies, for “Star Wars”, including the newest one, “The Force Awakens”, Disney Imagineer Kathy Mangum said”.
After being honored for his achievements in arts and culture at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, Lucas briefly confirmed he has seen the new ‘Star Wars, ‘ and he delivered his verdict on the movie.
Ford is essaying Han Solo in the film, which releases on December 25. The film is the first to be made without his direct oversight – not counting The Star Wars Holiday Special – and his answer would seem very diplomatic.
Now that “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is nearing its worldwide premiere, Daisy Ridley opened up about her experience and thoughts on being casted as one of the leads for the most anticipated film of the year. Fans have just been looking for something that is more in tune with the spirit of the original films, and so far it seems like that’s what director J.J. Abrams will deliver.
“They wanted to know if I didn’t like something, and we would talk about ways to fix it”, Ford said. I am not going to do that actor stuff. “I was happy to see George again, and Kathy and I have never been out of touch, because we have a lot of connections”. All you have to do is watch George Lucas’ entire sci-fi franchise on repeat until you doze off; whoever stays up the longest, wins.
“I remember reading the theory that Finn is Mace Windu’s grandson or something like that”, he revealed, referring to the Jedi Master that appeared in the first Episodes I, II and III.

Although the post-credits scenes have added something special to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I’m personally content with The Force Awakens (and hopefully its sequels) existing on their own terms.
