While Harrison Ford has been part of some of the greatest film franchises ever conceived, he will always be connected with the character of Indiana Jones.

Jimmy Kimmel wondered aloud if Ford agreed to don the fedora once again because producers finally came up with a suitable idea.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC. Harrison revealed “I’ll be ready, I’m excited about this”, about reprising his classic role.
“And I didn’t want to do it without a really good script. And happily we’re working on both”. He said: “The opportunity to work with Steven again on this character which has brought pleasure to so many…”
But Ford said he does not feel an emotional connection to the characters he plays.
“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019”, Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn wrote in a statement announcing the film.
Fans are excited to hear that Harrison Ford will be returning, despite his age.
Spielberg directed the four previous Indiana Jones films, which were all produced by Star Wars creator George Lucas. We ‘re sure he’s going to be taking home a MASSIVE paycheck for coming back to play Indy for a fifth time, we just don’t know how high into the millions it will be.
The series’ first film, “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” opened in 1981. Last night the 73-year-old actor sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to talk about Indiana Jones.

Now the film is scheduled to go against Inhumans (07/12) at the box office but expect Inhumans to shift to another date.
