The West End stage play officially opened in London on Saturday after several weeks of preview shows. “I think a lot of people in their own minds are trying to imagine where the story is going, and it will be nice to see where JK Rowling put the story 19 years into the future”.
More than 150 Harry Potter fans went to Old Firehouse Books in Fort Collins Saturday night to celebrate the release of the newest installment in the series with themed games and activities for fans of all ages.
“It chimed perfectly with the material I had about the next generation and I could see it would work perfectly”, Rowling added.
That doesn’t mean we’ll never see Harry Potter again.
‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, ‘ goes on sale July 31st, which also happens to be J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter’s birthday’s. Right now the new Harry Potter book is 40% off at the Cornwall Ontario Coles (and that’s no spell, but it sure feels like magic). The books have been adapted into eight critically-acclaimed films starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as Potter, Granger, and Weasley, respectively.
“It’ll be a different way to experience Harry Potter”, Sweet said.
It’s a pretty big weekend in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Based on preorder sales, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” could become the top selling book of 2016 for both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Fans of the series flocked to bookstores around the world wearing wizard hats and capes to get their hands on a copy. In fact, as she still has at least one more script to write in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie series, it’s a given she’s not finished.
