Harry Potter’s old house is for sale
Whether there is room for a child to sleep in the cupboard under the stairs is unclear.

Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe in the hugely popular movie franchise, lived in the makeshift bedroom while staying with the disgusting Dursleys before heading off to Hogwarts.
The real 4 Privet Drive from the Harry Potter movies has gone on sale in Martins Heron, Bracknell.
It is listed for £475,000; that’s $824,000 in Australian Muggle dollars, or 158,000 galleons in wizarding currency.
The property has three bedrooms, a large living room, family bathroom, a large garden, and off-street parking.
The home of Harry’s Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and cousin Dudley Dursley in the famous films is ideal for commuters as its just 0.2 miles from Martins Heron railway station.
The spacious garden has a large patio and grass area, flawless for families and entertaining.
It also acts as an excellent makeshift viewing space for watching Aunt Marjorie float away into the night’s sky.
For a mere $500,000, the fully refinished home could be yours.
Reads the listing: “Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard”.
The house previously went on sale in 2010 where it sold for £290,000, but it seems to have increased in price since the completion of the Harry Potter films.
The home has a large backyard with a spacious patio, and room for Hedwig to fly around.

At first glance, it’s a very ordinary three-bedroom brick house on a modern estate: but for anybody that’s visited the Warner Bros studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, it will look awfully familiar.
