Harvard’s Bernie Supporters Rally Behind Clinton
“And I think the answer is by far Hillary Clinton”.

Both presidential candidates are trying to appeal to a broad variety of voters.
For Hillary Clinton, that means reaching out to supporters of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Miami attorney Kira Willig was a Sanders delegate at the Democratic National Convention back in July.
Clinton returned to the campaign trail on Thursday, four days after she nearly fainted during a ceremony marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in NY.
“I did say, when I was secretary of State, three years ago, that I hoped it would be the gold standard”, Clinton said in a debate with Sanders last year.
But dollars in a presidential campaign, especially in the digital age, are about more than just funding the campaign.
Bernie Sanders offered some advice for Hillary Clinton as she competes against Donald Trump for the presidency.
“Please, anybody who supports me – do not think that Donald Trump in any way, shape or form reflects the point of view that I have”, Sanders said, CNN reports, encouraging supporters to “worry about” their own lives, and “which candidate issue after issue after issue is better”.
He Li ’16-17, who served as president of the former Harvard students for Sanders group, said everyone he has spoken to has made a decision to rally behind Clinton, though many were initially “disenchanted”, himself included, with her candidacy.
But even Sanders acknowledged after the convention on CBS’ “Face the Nation” it was going to be tough getting his die-hards change gears.
And many, like former Sanders delegate Kira Willig, have indeed come on board. She is going to raise taxes on the rich.
While Clinton was secretary of State, she praised the TPP as an agreement that “sets the gold standard in trade agreements”.
