The stars will film at the beauty spot on the Atlantic coast where construction has been under way on what is believed to be a new version of the Millennium Falcon.
-Tom Hardy plays a First Order stormtrooper. This will not be a major role and will be a cameo appearance just like the one Daniel Craig had in “The Force Awakens”.
The “incognito” Finn is surprised when Hardy walks up behind him and slaps him on the ass.
So it sounds like Finn is on a mission for the Resistance, and is recognized by a former buddy from the First Order training academy played by Tom Hardy. According to John Boyega, however, Finn and Rey’s friendship won’t necessarily blossom into romance as the Star Wars saga continues.
“Star Wars VIII”, which has yet to be given an official name, is expected to hit cinema screens around the globe next year.
It’s the ideal low-maintenance cameo, really – no need to worry about emoting, just put on your helmet and you’re good to go.
The Stormtrooper congratulates Finn on his “promotion” and leaves. He’s surely going to be captured.
