Has Jenna Coleman Ditched The Doctor After Landing Role As Queen Victoria?

Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi has called for “lots more kissing” in the hit BBC1 show but ruled out any romantic storyline between the Time Lord and his companion.
She said: “I’d love to be in Doctor Who“.
The 29-year-old actress is thought to be moving on to pastures new after bagging a lead role in upcoming ITV drama, Queen Victoria.
“It’s constantly regenerating, so you want to make your time count and enjoy the adventure for the fleeting time you’re here” she added. Jenna is not cast for the Christmas special, which explains the inclusion of River Song (Alex Kingston) though it would be exciting if we got a peek of the new companion at that time. Showrunner Steven Moffat later confirmed that she had indeed originally been due to leave at the end of series eight finale Death in Heaven.
Viewers will soon see him hop into the TARDIS for his second series of Doctor Who, but Peter Capaldi still isn’t sure he is the Doctor.
“It’s wonderful”, Coleman said regarding her decision previous year . Coleman joined the show in 2012, accompanying the 11th doctor (Matt Smith) as he unraveled Oswald’s deep connection to his various incarnations.
Season nine of BBC America’s Doctor Who premiere’s this weekend with the first episode of 2015, “The Magician’s Apprentice”, but this week we’ve learned the details of the all twelve episodes of the season, too!
The next 1:50 of the prologue shows the Doctor talking to a mysterious being – that being is not as mysterious though to hardcore Whovians, as she has already appeared in the 50th anniversary minisode, “The Night of the Doctor“.

This means leaving Doctor Who behind, likely before this year’s Christmas Special. So I said, “OK, I’ll write you out in Christmas”. If she isnt being replaced, how will her tenure as longtime companion go? And then she asked me if she could be in Christmas.
