Yes, if you recognize the name of the game, it is the same Last Blade from when you played it on the NeoGeo. There is still some debate on whether this is a working title to be abandoned for PlayStation 4.5 or PlayStation 4K at release date, or whether PlayStation Neo could be the ultimate branding of the video games machine. For those who are looking forward to the PS4K, codenamed NEO, here is what to expect. “Some of which seem imminent”.

Another reason Sony wants to put a little more power on the table is for the PlayStation VR headset, which will release this October.

The mid-generation refresh console may not be releasing its own titles for the PS4K, according to assertions by Giant Bomb. According to rumors, developers are being told that they could not create games specific for PlayStation 4 Neo. But we also expect the seasonal uplift of our traditional game console business.

Whether developers will quite be able to push this machine to native 4K resolution is debatable, but Sony has already reportedly devised advice for game manufacturers indicating how to get the best out of the new machine and indeed deliver 4K resolution. Giant Bomb pointed out that Sony’s upcoming console will sport an 8-Jaguar-Core CPU clocked at 2.1 GHz.

While the gulf between these and the PlayStation 4 is perhaps not as large as anticipated, the fact remains that the PlayStation 4.5 will be significantly more powerful than the existing console. The CPU is said to utilize 8 Jaguar Cores running at 2.1 Ghz apiece (as opposed to 1.6 Ghz in the original PS4), while an upgraded AMD GPU should offer extra graphical muscle with 36 compute units at 911 MHz compared to 18 CU at 800 MHz in the earlier model.

Reports suggest that AMD could be building two of these products for the Nintendo NX, both the portable device and home console.
